Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025 is set to take place next month, during which the South Korean tech giant will unveil the Galaxy S25 series, but this time it is expected to be different. Rumours are circulating that Samsung may release an all-new Galaxy S25 Slim, a slimmer variant. While there isn’t much official information available about the device right now, the rumour mill has speculated on its potential release date, specifications, and price range. Here’s everything we know so far.
According to the tipsters, the Galaxy S25 Slim will not be announced at the Unpacked 2025. Further the reports claim that the Galaxy S25 Slim could debut in Q2 2025. It is expected to match the launch timeline of Galaxy A and Galaxy FE series, but nothing is official at the moment.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to come with a 6.66-inch screen, a but smaller than the Galaxy S24+ with 120Hz refresh rate. Just like the entire S25 series lineup, the device is expected to come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset which can be coupled with up to 12GB RAM. It may come backed by a 4,700 mAh battery.
In terms of camera, the device is expected to come with a 200MP HP5 main camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 50MP telephoto lens.
The smartphone is expected to debut with a 6mm thickness, much slimmer than the 7.6mm Galaxy S24. Even the rumoured iPhone 17 Air is tipped to debut with a 6.25mm thickness. However, we will have to wait a little longer to get more detailed information about the device. There are also chances that Samsung may announce the phone and bring it later into the markets, just like the Galaxy Ring.
According to the leaks, the Galaxy S25 Slim could cost around Rs 70,000. However, the price is based on previous leaks, and given the slim form factor, it could cost more.
