Samsung is rumoured to launch the Galaxy S25 series in January 2025. Recently, a teaser was leaked revealing the launch month of the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. The South Korean tech giant hasn’t disclosed anything about these upcoming flagship phones or their launch date, but leaks suggest that Samsung might announce them on January 22. Moreover, the smartphone lineup is also expected to go on sale on February 7. When will it launch? Only Samsung knows. But we know a couple of details about the upcoming Samsung flagships gathered from leaks and rumours.
The entire lineup is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, including the base Galaxy S25. However, on the design front, the Galaxy S25 is expected to have a design similar to that of its predecessor. It can pack the same 62-inch screen. However, it can have some minor design changes. As per rumours, it can feature a triple camera setup with 50-megapixel, 10-megapixel, and 12-megapixel lenses. It can also feature 3x optical zoom.
Coming to the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus now, it can also closely resemble its predecessor and get minimal upgrades. However, it can get a faster processor, possibly the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It can even feature an increased 12GB RAM. It can feature a 6.7-inch display just like the S24 Plus.
It is the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra that will get the maximum upgrades on both fronts. If rumours are to be believed, the Galaxy S25 Ultra can have more rounded corners, tiny bezels, and an upgrade to the ultrawide camera. On the front, we can get to see the same 6.8-inch screen. It can run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and can feature a 16GB RAM variant too.
Apart from these three variants, a Galaxy S25 Slim model is also rumoured. As per leaks, it can be thinner than the other models and feature a high-end camera setup, better than the standard Galaxy S25. It can also be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Not much is known about this smartphone yet but let’s see whether Samsung will launch it or not.
