Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge
At its annual Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung revealed an additional smartphone along with its traditional three S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. I am talking about the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. Not a lot was shared about the device back then, but it was later showcased during MWC 2025 as well. Now, it seems like South Korea’s tech giant will launch a smartphone soon. While Samsung has yet to announce an official launch date, reports suggest the device could debut globally on April 16, with sales beginning in early May. Ahead of the launch, its prices have surfaced online.
According to the latest leak, the base variant of the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be priced between €1200-€1300 in Europe, which translates to approximately Rs 1,14,000 – Rs 1,23,000 in India. Meanwhile, the 512GB storage variant could be priced between €1300-€1400, bringing its estimated Indian pricing to Rs 1,23,000 – Rs 1,32,000.
This means that the Galaxy S25 Edge will be positioned closer to the Galaxy S25 Ultra rather than the standard S25 or the S25+. For context, the Galaxy S25 series pricing in India starts at Rs 80,999 for the Galaxy S25, Rs 99,999 for the Galaxy S25+, and Rs 1,29,999 for the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is rumored to feature a titanium body. The biggest highlight of this device is that it is expected to measure just 5.84mm and can weigh under 162g. The smartphone is expected to sport a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 4,000mAh battery, and a dual-camera setup with a 200MP primary sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, it may feature a 12MP camera.
