Samsung fans who were eagerly waiting for the Galaxy S25 Edge might have to wait a little longer. The smartphone, which was initially expected to launch this month, has reportedly been delayed. The information came from the well-known tipster Ice Universe who claimed on X (formerly Twitter) that the launch has been postponed, and the phone will hit the market in May or June.
While we wait for the official confirmation, let’s take a look at what to expect from the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is rumoured to come with a 6.7-inch OLED display, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2,600 nits of brightness. It will likely be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

For photography, the smartphone is expected to feature a 200MP main camera, along with a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. Under the hood, the Galaxy S25 Edge could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. Furthermore, the device might pack a 3,900mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
Additionally, Samsung is expected to integrate its Galaxy AI features into the S25 Edge, enhancing user experience with AI-powered tools.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be positioned between the Galaxy S25 Plus and the premium S25 Ultra in terms of pricing. Reports suggest that it could be priced between $1,099 (around Rs 94,800) and $1,199 (around Rs 1,03,400). However, these are just estimates, and Samsung has not revealed official pricing details yet.
