Now, the drop test video of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra handset has been released by a YouTuber, showcasing the durability of the new flagship. Let’s see how well the smartphone performed in terms of protection during this durability test.
During a drop test conducted by YouTuber PBKreviews, the Galaxy S24 Ultra was dropped multiple times from waist height. Unfortunately, in the very first fall, the phone’s screen got a minor crack in the top right corner, reports 91mobiles.

In the following falls, the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s top left corner faced slight scraping, and the titanium frame also got scrapes at various locations. Despite these incidents, the phone managed to avoid any major damage.

The tester concluded that the titanium frame effectively protected the device, but suggested that Samsung could have employed a more durable glass for the front. Nonetheless, the Gorilla Glass Armor used in the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is said to be 3 times better at drop resistance and 4 times better at scratch resistance compared to its competitors.
It’s worth noting that the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s screen managed to stay scratch-free even after putting and scrubbing sand and gravel on it.
In the conducted drop test, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra handset mostly landed facing the screen, even though the YouTuber attempted to drop the device from various sides.
In addition to the test results, the Gorilla Glass Armor featured on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is said to have the capability of reducing reflections by up to 75 percent.
