Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has made an appearance on Geekbench, offering an early glimpse into its performance.

In the single-core CPU test, the smartphone was able to get 2,234 points.

In the multi-core CPU test, the Galaxy S24 Ultra earned 6,807 points.

Although it is still months away, there have already been a number of leaks and rumours regarding Samsung‘s upcoming Galaxy S24 lineup of flagship smartphones. Now, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has made an appearance on Geekbench, offering an early glimpse into its performance.

According to a report by Gizmochina, the benchmark listing showed the US version of the Galaxy S24 Ultra (SM-S928U) with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC (System on Chip).

In the single-core CPU test, the smartphone was able to get 2,234 points, while in the multi-core CPU test, it earned 6,807 points.

For comparison, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, scored 1,895 in the single-core CPU test and 5,062 in the multi-core CPU test.

The Geekbench listing also revealed some details about the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This SoC is expected to have one Cortex-X4 CPU core clocked at 3.3GHz, three Cortex-A720 CPU cores clocked at 3.15GHz, two Cortex-A720 CPU cores clocked at 2.96GHz, and two Cortex-A520 CPU cores clocked at 2.27GHz. For those who are unaware, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is scheduled to launch on October 24 at the Snapdragon Summit.

The S24 Ultra is also expected to feature a titanium frame body, an improved 200MP primary rear camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. 

Earlier, it was rumoured that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.8-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide (LTPO) display with 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s display is expected to feature a 19.5:5 ratio and up to 2500 nits of peak brightness, which is way more than Galaxy S23 Ultra, along with a resolution of up to 3120×1440 pixels. 

Also, the upcoming high-end smartphone model will likely come packed with a 5,000mAh battery and might come with support for 45W charging.
