The Galaxy S24 has a large copper vapour chamber beneath the battery.

The Galaxy S24 receives a repairability score of 9 out of 10.

Samsung recently launched its flagship Galaxy S24 series. This series includes three smartphone models: the Samsung Galaxy S24, the Samsung Galaxy S24+, and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Recently, a YouTuber conducted a drop test video on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra handset. Now, the same YouTuber has released a teardown video of the vanilla model, Galaxy S24, revealing what’s inside the smartphone.

The teardown video of the Samsung Galaxy S24 handset has been released by YouTuber PBKreviews.

You can see that there are 20 Philips screws, and when you open the back panel, you’ll find the wireless charging coil and NFC antenna.

The vanilla Samsung Galaxy S24 handset doesn’t come with a UWB antenna, but the Galaxy S24+ and S24 Ultra phones do have this feature.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 smartphone’s mainboard comes with a dual-layer design similar to last year.

The 12MP front camera is stuck with glue, so you need to use a knife to cut the glue around the sensor. The rear cameras can be removed easily. You can take out the Galaxy S24’s battery using a pull tab.

In the disassembly video, it’s revealed that the regular Samsung Galaxy S24 has a large copper vapour chamber beneath the battery. This chamber is said to be nearly twice the size of the one found in the Galaxy S23.

Taking the screen off the frame seems challenging due to the narrow bezels. It’s almost impossible to pry the screen without causing damage.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 receives a repairability score of 9 out of 10. It earns praise for factors like parts availability, easy battery replacement, and the simplicity of changing components like the charger port. The phone secures 1.5 out of 2 maximum points for internal organisation, repair time, and screen replacement.
