Samsung Galaxy S23 launched this year in February. And now we wait for the next smartphone in the lineup which is the Samsung Galaxy S24. And if rumours are to be believed then the next flagship Samsung will be here much before the ETA.
Samsung usually releases the Galaxy S series during its Galaxy Unpacked event which is mostly held in February. Now according to a leak, Samsung is planning to speed up this process and release the Samsung Galaxy S24 in January 2024 itself.

Tipster Ice Universe took to Weibo to share that Samsung might have plans to launch the Samsung Galaxy S24 on 18 January 2024. If there’s any truth to this tip then the Samsung Galaxy S will be out well before its usual February timeline.
But we should keep in mind that this is not the first time Samsung is pushing its timeline. Last year, the Samsung Galaxy S23 was unveiled on 1 February 2023. But the other Galaxy S smartphones before that were released towards the end of February. So that means that we’ll have the Samsung Galaxy S24 sooner than before but take it with a pinch of salt because it’s still a rumour.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 lineup will include three smartphones. These are the Galaxy S24, the S24+, and the S24 Ultra. As for the specs, the Samsung Galaxy S24 and the S24+ could sport flat edges and could even support LTPO display technology. Meanwhile, the S24 Ultra could have rounded edges and titanium frames. And as per rumours, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset that will be announced in October this year.

On the camera front, it is rumoured that there are going to be many camera and performance upgrades for the S24 lineup. We might get a 200-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel periscope lens and Samsung could give us 12x optical zoom too.
We cannot be certain about anything just yet as these are just rumours and there hasn’t been any official communication from Samsung yet.
