A tipster has revealed some specifications of the upcoming Galaxy S24 Plus smartphone model.
The smartphone's display is expected to use Samsung Display’s high-end M13 panel.

For quite some time, there have been several rumours and leaks about Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone series, Galaxy S24. Now, a tipster has revealed some specifications of the Galaxy S24 Plus smartphone model.
Tipster Ice Universe previously mentioned that the Galaxy S24 Plus device would showcase a 2K display. Now, the tipster has revealed that this QHD+ screen is expected to utilise Samsung Display’s high-end M13 panel, reports Gizmochina.

The tipster also said that the upcoming smartphone model is expected to be slim at 7.7mm, and could come with 12GB RAM.

For those who may not know, Galaxy S models have generally been equipped with 8GB RAM since 2019 in most markets.
Even with the improvements, the Galaxy S24 Plus won’t match up to similarly priced competitors. Still, it’ll be an upgrade compared to earlier models.
The Galaxy S24 series was previously tipped to support the Ultra HDR feature. The Galaxy S24 lineup is rumoured to come with Super AMOLED displays with a peak brightness of up to 2,500 nits, marking a 42% increase compared to the Galaxy S23 series. This enhanced brightness makes the displays ideal for displaying HDR content.
Moreover, a Samsung executive recently confirmed that the tech giant will support satellite connectivity for emergency services starting next year. This probably indicates that the upcoming Galaxy S24 series, which is expected to launch early next year, will likely feature two-way satellite connectivity for emergencies.
Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S24 series in seven colours, which are Black, Gray, Violet, Blue, Orange, Yellow, and Green. Also, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone model will likely be offered in a ‘Golden’ colour with a golden frame.
