As we get closer to 2024, we’re also getting closer to the much-awaited launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. This upcoming lineup is expected to include three smartphone models: the Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Recently, the Galaxy S24+ model was spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification website. Now, the standard Galaxy S24 model has made its appearance on the NBTC certification website.

On the NBTC certification website, the Galaxy S24 smartphone carries the model number SM-S921B/DS, reports MySmartPrice.

While the NBTC listing confirmed the moniker of the handset, it doesn’t reveal any specifications of the device.

So far, rumours suggest that the vanilla Samsung Galaxy S24 smartphone is expected to feature a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

The upcoming Galaxy S24 handset is anticipated to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC or Samsung’s own Exynos 2400 SoC in some markets.

The handset will likely be available in 8GB and 12GB RAM options paired with up to 512GB storage capacity. Also, the Galaxy S24 smartphone model might run on Android 14-based OneUI out of the box.

For photography, the upcoming Galaxy S24 handset is expected to house a 50MP + 12MP + 10MP camera setup. On the front, there could be a 12MP camera. Moreover, the device could pack a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging support.

A Samsung executive earlier confirmed that the tech giant will bring support for satellite connectivity for emergency services starting next year. This suggests that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 series will likely incorporate two-way satellite connectivity for emergencies.
