Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra could be the top dog in the S-series next year. Here we have the first images of the handset thanks to leaked renders shared by OnLeaks via Smartprix. That gives us an idea of what to expect from the device in terms of its design and looks. From the first look, it appears quite familiar but there are some differences also. Here, have a look.
So, the leak claims the S23 Ultra display size is 6.8-inches only like its precursor. The bezels are said to be slimmest to have come on an S-series smartphone. The phone is apparently a bit wider also. Its dimensions are 163.4 x 78.1 x 8.8mm.
You could also expect display improvements in terms of color reproduction, HDR, peak brightness, and screen reflectance.
The back has got the same individual camera archipelago as the S22 Ultra and not a giant camera island like many other smartphones. One subtle change is how the two small sensors on the right of the main triplet are recessed into the rear panel.
Coming to the sides, the frame is shown to be less curvy than the previous Ultra.
Samsung could arm the S23 Ultra with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and could ditch the Exynos processors altogether. The battery size could be 5000mAh battery but they could ship it with a 25W charger only. Internals could also comprise UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5x RAM support.
Another big upgrade could be a 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor with a 0.6μm pixel size and a bigger f/1.7 aperture for letting in more light.
Well, that’s more or less what we know at the moment about the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
