Samsung may soon launch the Galaxy On8 smartphone in India. The phone is being teased by Flipkart on social media channels, and the name was spotted on the ‘Featured brands’ section in the e-tailer’s Big Billion Day Sale microsite. It is possible that it will be made available during the sale. Not much about the device is known, but the teaser site suggests that the phone will have a Super AMOLED Full HD display, and will sport 3GB of RAM. Samsung has also promised a long-lasting battery, and the device will be exclusively available on Flipkart.
This comes just a week after Samsung launched the Galaxy J7 Prime in India. The phone is priced at Rs. 18,790 and features a 5.5-inch Full HD display along with 3GB of RAM. It also comes with S Power Planning, which is aimed at helping users manage their battery more efficiently.
The Samsung Galaxy On8 will succeed the On7 that was launched last year alongside the Galaxy On5. Samsung also unveiled two upgraded versions of the two phones called the Galaxy On7 Pro and the On5 Pro, a few months ago.
