A new version of last year’s model may be in the works

Indian import tracking website, Zauba has tracked that various parts for the Samsung SM-G610F were being imported into New Delhi, directly from South Korea. The original Samsung On7, which had launched last year had the model number SM-G600. So this being the SM-G610F, is clearly the successor of last years model.

The listing of various products imported, as seen here, gives us a few hints about what the specifications of the upcoming phone might be. Unlike last years model which had a 720p display, this year's model has a Full-HD screen as seen in the listing. The rear camera remains the same at 13MP but the front camera seems to have received an upgrade to 8MP. Also, it seems the phone will sport dual-SIM functionality, with either 2 SIMs supported or a hybrid slot. What isn’t clear is which CPU or how much RAM the new phone has. The last model only had 8GB of internal storage, so we hope that this one receives an upgrade as well.

The original Samsung Galaxy On7 launched last year in India, alongside the Samsung Galaxy On5. It had a Snapdragon 410 SOC with 1.5GB of RAM and a 3000 mAh battery, along with expandable storage.
