Samsung has launched the Galaxy On7 Prime in India. The new smartphone is exclusive to Amazon and the Samsung store, and is available in two variants. The 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant is priced at Rs 12,990, while the 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 14,990. The device will be available from January 20.
The Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime comes with a number of shopping centric features. The phone comes pre-installed with the Samsung Mall app that offers features such as Visual Search, All-in-One Shopping and Universal Cart. Visual Search lets users user any picture from their gallery and search multiple shopping sites for the product. All-in-One Shopping lets users shop across multiple online shopping sites via a single interface, while Universal Cart allows users to add products from multiple websites to a single cart for review and purchase.
In terms of specification, the Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime is powered by a 1.6GHz Exynos octa-core processor. The device sports 13MP cameras on the front and back with a f/1.9 aperture lens for each. The phone sports a 5.5-inch FHD display and comes with Samsung Pay Mini.
Samsung recently announced that they will unveiled their next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus+ during MWC 2018. Notable leakster, Evan Blass aka @evleaks posted that the company will unveil the devices on February 29. The device is tipped to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 in the US and an Exynos 9810 globally. The phones are also expected to offer ‘super slo-mo’ recording at 1000fps.
