Samsung Galaxy Note9 pre-registrations open in India

Those interested in buying the Samsung Galaxy Note9 can pre-register their interest on Samsung's India website.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 is finally official and we know its headed to Indian shores soon because the company has already opened pre-registration in the country. There is no date for the launch of the Galaxy Note9 in India, but we expect Samsung to give us an update as early as next week and one can expect the phone to launch in the country not much later than its August 24 US availability date. Those interested in purchaseing a Galaxy Not9 device can head over to Samsung India's website and pre-register their interest. Pre-registering for the Galaxy Note9 will require you to share your personal information such as your phone number and your email address. Doing this will ensure you get timely updates on the Galaxy Note9 India launch, so you can be one of the first people to get your hands on the newly launched smartphone. Samsung Galaxy Note9 Specs

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a 6.4-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2960×1440. It has Samsung's popular Infinity Display design, complemented by stereo speakers tuned by AKG, with support for Dolby Atmos. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 10nm 64-bit Octa-core processor and runs on Android Oreo 8.1. For countries outside the US, like India, Samsung is expected to incorporate its own Exynos 9810 chipset. The smartphone features Samsung’s Water Carbon Cooling technology to keep it cool during graphic intensive tasks. An on-device AI-based performance adjusts algorithm to deliver powerful and stable performance thanks to Qualcomm's 3rd Generation Hexagon 685 DSP.

The Galaxy Note9 features a big 4,000mAh battery which, the company claims, gives users all day power. The phone is available in two variants, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 512GB storage. Both the phablet variants support a 512GB MicroSD card support. 

When it comes to photography, the Galaxy Note9 features a dual-camera setup with Dual OIS on the back. Both the wide-angle and telephoto lens have a 12MP sensor. The wide-angle sensor has F1.5/F2.4 variable aperture and the telephoto lens has a F2.4 F-spot. The front camera has an 8MP sensor with F1.7 aperture.

The S-Pen has also been upgraded with Bluetooth support so users can click a button on the stylus and take selfies, group pictures, present slides, pause and play music, and more.
