The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is expected to launch around mid-August and could be the most expensive smartphone yet from the South Korean company. While the renders of the handset and specifications have already leaked, a new leak shows the final design of the smartphone.
A case manufacturer has jumped guns and released images of the upcoming Galaxy Note8 smartphone. Case manufacturer Olixar has published photos of its transparent gel cases for the Galaxy Note8. The leaked images confirm the horizontally placed dual-rear camera setup and the Bixby button placed below the volume rocker on the left.
This new leak perfectly matches the CAD renders which revealed a 360-degree view of the Note8. The smartphone reportedly sports a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display and will be taller and wider than the Galaxy S8+. It is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor and gets boosted with 6GB RAM as a standard option.
Korean media reports that the Galaxy Note8 will arrive in two storage options: 64GB and 128GB. Other details include a dual 12MP rear camera setup, with one wide-angle lens and another telephoto lens, and support for 3x optical zoom. The handset is said to have a 3300mAh battery and offer new S Pen features. The Galaxy Note8 is tipped to launch at a dedicated event on August 26 with a retail price of around €999 (approximately Rs 72,000). The smartphone will compete with the likes of Apple's rumoured OLED iPhone and LG V30 slated to launch in September.
