Samsung Galaxy Note III images allegedly leaked
HIGHLIGHTS

A Chinese website has leaked images of Samsung's next-gen phablet flagship, but are they legitimate?

Chinese website Mydrivers.com has leaked alleged images of the new Samsung Galaxy Note III. The image shows an alleged Galaxy Note III phablet, sporting a 14.9 cm (5.9-inch) display, thus agreeing with speculations in our previous coverage of the new Galaxy Note III. Whether this is proof of legitimacy of the rumour, or is a cause of the rumour is another question altogether.

The website further says that it will support Full HD display, and will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 5410 Octa processor with four Cortex A15 chips clocked at 2.0GHz, and four Cortex A7 chips running at 1.7GHz.The phablet will be backed by 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage. In addition, it will support Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

The Galaxy Note III or Note 3 is expected to be launched mid-June or during the IFA 2013 in Berlin.

Now as is expected of an image leak, there is quite some skepticism. Some feel that the image is actually of the Chinese ZOPO 950 , while some see the image contrasting with the rumour of the phablet having an OLED screen. So right now we suggest that you just take a breath and wait. It will come.

If you are still itching to get your hands on a phablet, check out our coverage on the Lenovo K900 due out on May 10, which is reportedly not going to cost a bomb.
