Indian online retailer Infibeam has put Samsung’s recently unveiled hybrid tablet-smartphone device, the Galaxy Note II, up for pre order on its site.
The device is listed as a coming soon item and is priced at Rs. 38,500. The Note II is up for grabs in two colours – white and black. The Galaxy Note II is expected to launch on September 10th (internationally) and the delivery of the device will be completed in 1-2 working days. In India however, the Note II is expected to launch before Diwali and the tentative launch period is October.
The Galaxy Note II boasts of a 5.5-inch display and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core processor under the hood. The device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and boasts of a whopping 2GB of RAM just like the Galaxy Note 10.1. The Note II also has an 8MP rear facing camera and a 1.9MP front facing camera. The device comes with three storage options – 16 / 32 / 64GB. The Galaxy Note II is quite slim measuring a mere 9.4mm in thickness and is relatively light for its size, weighing a mere 180 grams. The resolution of the 5.5-inch display is 1280×720 rather than the expected 1280×800 – a 16:9 aspect ratio. The device houses a 3,100mAh battery.
