Further, the changelog notes that the update also includes a “new TouchWiz” with an “updated design” along with a “vibration pattern concept.” Users should receive the notification regarding the update soon, but can also manually check for updates by going into Settings > About Phone > System Update.

Samsung launched the original Galaxy J5 in July last year at Rs. 11,999. The phone features a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC with 1.5GB of RAM. A few months ago, the company had launched an upgraded version of the phone called the Galaxy J5 (2016). The new device sports a slightly larger 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC with 2GB of RAM. The phone also features Samsung's S Bike Mode that helps motorcycle riders concentrate on the road and not get distracted by calls or notifications. The new Galaxy J5 comes with Android Marshmallow pre-installed.
