The Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace is reportedly available for sale in India, for Rs. 6,400, in offline stores. The smartphone is yet to be launched officially by Samsung, but device photos and a video was posted by Mumbai-based retailer, Mahesh Telecom. He also posted complete specifications of the device on Facebook.

The Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace comes with a 4.3-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display. It also has 3G support, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 5MP rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash, 2MP front camera, 4GB of internal storage expandable upto 64GB, 1800mAh battery, and Android KitKat v4.4 out of the box. According to Mahesh Telecom, it is available in Black and White colour variants. It is 9.5mm in thickness, and supports WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0, and Wi-Fi Direct.
The Galaxy J1 Ace is quite similar to the earlier launched budget smartphone, Samsung Galaxy J1, with the major difference being in the display type. Earlier this month, Samsung launched the Galaxy S6 Edge+ in India, for Rs. 57,900. The smartphone comes with a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED dual-edge display, octa-core Exynos 7420 processor with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, 16MP/5MP camera, and a 3,000mAh battery.
Additionally, Samsung has made its smartwatches, Gear S2 and S2 Classic, official. Both of them are identical in terms of specs as they come with dual-core 1GHz processors, 1.2-inch circular displays, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage capacities.
