Samsung Galaxy Grand Max with 4G LTE, 5MP front camera unveiled

Samsung Galaxy Grand Max smartphone launched, features 4G LTE connectivity, quad-core processor and Android 4.4.

Samsung has launched a mid-range Galaxy Grand Max in Korea for SKW 3,70,000 or Rs. 21,200 approximately. The smartphone had been officially listed on the company's Korea store and is also available to buy from three major carriers (LG+, SKT, and Olleh) in Korea.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Max has a 5.25-inch HD TFT display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM and runs Android 4.4 OS. It has 16GB of internal memory expandable via microSD card slot up to 64GB. The smartphone has a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera with a wide 120-degree viewing angle for taking selfies. Connectivity options included in the Galaxy Grand Max are 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, micro-USB and GPS. It has inbuilt accelerometer, proximity and compass sensors.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Max is powered by a 2500mAh replaceable battery and  is available in White and Black colour variants. As of now, there is no word whether Samsung will be launching the Galaxy Grand Max outside Korea as yet.

Samsung has also unveiled its much awaited Galaxy A7 smartphone at an event in Malaysia earlier. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, and is backed by a 2600 mAh battery. There is no word about the price and global availability of the smartphone as yet.

Earlier this week, Samsung launched the all metal Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 smartphones in India for Rs. 20,500 and Rs. 25,500 respectively. The Korean giant has also unveiled two mid range smartphones in new Galaxy E5 and the Galaxy E7 under its Galaxy E series priced at Rs. 19,700 and Rs. 23,000 respectively.
