Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro features a 6-inch display, 6GB RAM and the Snapdragon 653 processor

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro, the first Galaxy C series handset to launch in India, is now available for pre-order. The smartphone was launched last month at Rs 36,900 and is available from the company's e-store.

The Galaxy C9 Pro is the first smartphone from the South Korean company to feature 6GB RAM. The device also sports a huge 6-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor and has 64GB built-in storage. It also supports expandable storage up to 256GB via microSD card slot.

On the camera front, the C9 Pro sports a 16MP image sensor on the front as well as the back, with f/1.9 aperture. The rear camera supports dual LED flash, face detection, beauty mode and continuous shot. The front camera offers a selfie mode, a wide angle selfie mode and gesture support. The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company's own customisation and offers additional features like S Secure, S Power Planning and Ultra Data Saving mode. The smartphone comes with a huge 4000mAh battery and uses a USB-C port for charging and data transfer.

The 6.9mm thin Galaxy C9 Pro features an aluminium metal unibody design and offers a front mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone comes in Gold and Black colour options and Samsung is offering a one-time screen replacement at Rs 990. The smartphone will be shipping to pre-order customers starting February 24.
