Samsung Galaxy C5 leak suggests all-metal design, Snapdragon 617 SoC
Images of the Samsung Galaxy C5 suggest an all-metal design and is tipped to offer 4GB of RAM and 16MP/8MP cameras
An unannounced Samsung smartphone, tipped to be called Galaxy C5 has been leaked by Nowhereelse and MyDrivers. The phone has an all metal design and from the back, the phone looks similar to the HTC One M9. However, the front resembles the Galaxy S7. The device is tipped to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC with 4GB RAM. It is also expected to come with 16MP and 8MP cameras, and may run Android Marshmallow v6.0 with TouchWiz layered over it.
This Samsung Galaxy C5 may not be the only smartphone in Samsung’s ‘C’ series. Last month, the Samsung Galaxy C7 smartphone was spotted on AnTuTu. As per the listing, the phone may come with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and might be powered by a Snapdragon 652 SoC with 4GB RAM. The phone is tipped to offer 32GB of onboard storage and Android Marshmallow v6.0.1. The Galaxy C7 is also expected to come with 16MP and 8MP cameras. It is not yet known when Samsung will launch these devices or what they will cost.
Samsung is expected to launch the 2016 editions of the Galaxy J5 and J7 in India today. The two devices sport a metal frame and a new design. The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) comes with a 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC with 2GB of RAM. The device offers 16GB of internal storage and sports 13MP/5MP cameras. The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) has a 5.5-inch HD display with an octa-core SoC with 2GB RAM. The phone sports 13MP and 5MP cameras and offers 16GB of onboard storage.
