Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT, Core 2 reportedly launch in India

According to Mahesh Telecom, Samsung's Galaxy Ace NXT and Core 2 will be available in India for Rs. 7,399 and Rs. 11,599 respectively.

Samsung has reportedly launched a new entry-level smartphone that will compete with the Moto E and recently launched the Asus Zenfone 4. Called the Galaxy Ace NXT, the new Samsung smartphone is reportedly available in India for Rs. 7,399. According to reports, Samsung has launched another budget smartphone – Galaxy Core 2, in India for Rs. 11,599.

The latest set of information comes from Mumbai-based Mahesh Telecom. Specifications of the Galaxy Ace NXT include a 4-inch display, 1.2GHz single-core processor, 3MP rear camera and 1500 mAh battery. The Galaxy Core 2 features a 4.5-inch display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 768MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage, 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash and 2,000 mAh battery.

According to Mahesh Telecom, Samsung will be launching Young 2, Star 2 and Ace 4 entry-level smartphones pretty soon. It's notable Samsung had recently announced these smartphones running Android 4.4 Kitkat.

With launches of Moto G, Zenfone smartphones in the budget segment, pressure is high on the likes of Samsung and Sony to compete with similar high specd devices in that price bracket.
