The Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) leaked video reveals a 6-inch super AMOLED display. The smartphone is tipped to feature a 16MP + 8MP front-facing camera setup and a 16MP single rear camera.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A8+ has been leaked in the form of a hands-on video which reveals the design and specifications of the smartphone. Going by the video, the highlight of the Galaxy A8+ is its Infinity display, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S8 (review) and Note 8 (review). It might also sport a dual front-facing camera and could be priced at 50,000 BDT (Rs 38,200 approx).
In the leaked video, the Samsung Galaxy A8+ is seen bearing the model number SM-A730F. The video also revealed its specifications, which suggest that it should be powered by a 2.2GHz Octa-core Exynos 7885 SoC. It is tipped to sport a 6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with a 2280x1080p resolution. The smartphone is expected to come with 6GB RAM coupled with 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
In terms of camera, the Galaxy A8+ might sport a 16MP + 8MP front facing camera with a f/1.9 aperture lens. It could come with a 16MP single rear camera with f/1.7 aperture lens and PDAF support. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a 3500 mAh battery and come with a USB type-C port for fast charging. The device is tipped to sport a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and come with Samsung Pay and the company’s virtual assistant, Bixby. It is also reported to be IP68 water and dust resistant, and is expected to feature OIS and Face unlock as well.
