Samsung Galaxy A72 powered by the Snapdragon 720G processor could launch soon as it has been spotted in a listing on the Google Play Console. The listing reveals some key details about the upcoming smartphone along with an image of the Galaxy A72 with a punch-hole cutout. As previously reported, the Galaxy A72 could launch in India soon as the support pages went live on the official website.

According to the screenshot of the listing shared by YoLeaks on Twitter, the Galaxy A72 looks likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 720G processor and features a Full HD+ display. The Play Console listing suggests that the Galaxy A72 has 6GB of RAM and runs on Android 11. The tweet also has an image of the phone with a punch-hole cutout in the centre. The Galaxy A72 has leaked previously revealing some of the key specifications.

Samsung Galaxy A72 is rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ (2400×1080 pixels) resolution Super AMOLED display. The screen supports a 90Hz refresh rate and has a punch-hole notch cutout for the selfie camera. The phone is expected to be IP67 rated, making it resistant to dust and water ingress.

The Galaxy A72 is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 720G processor with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 618 GPU. This could be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage options to choose from. It is expected to run on One UI 3.0 out-of-the-box which is based on Android 11.

The phone could have quad cameras on the back with a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 123-degree field-of-view and a 2MP macro camera. The Galaxy A72 could have a 32MP selfie camera up front.

The Galaxy A72 also has an in-screen fingerprint sensor and is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging out-of-the-box.
