Samsung Galaxy A72 4G is expected to launch alongside the Galaxy A52 as Samsung is slated to host the Galaxy Unpacked event on March 17. Ahead of its rumoured launch, an unboxing video of the Galaxy A72 4G has been posted online revealing its design, key features and alleged pricing in India.
The unboxing video of the Galaxy A72 was posted on the UBXTech YouTube channel, revealing the design of the upcoming phone along with its key features. The Galaxy A72 has been shown-off in the video in its entirety, leaving little to the imagination. Previous leaks also hinted at the pricing of the Galaxy A72 and the new unboxing video corroborates those prices as well.
As per an earlier report, the Galaxy A52 4G is set to be priced starting at Rs 26,499 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and Rs 27,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant. As for the Galaxy A72, it could be priced starting at Rs 34,999 for the 8GB+128GB model and Rs 37,999 for the 256GB storage option.
Samsung Galaxy A72 4G is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixel) resolution and support for 90Hz high refresh rate. The screen also has a punch-hole notch cutout for the selfie camera up front.
The Galaxy A72 4G could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 618 GPU. This could be paired with 8GB RAM and upto 256GB storage options to choose from. The A72 will likely run on Android 11 based OneUI 3.0 out-of-the-box.
The Samsung Galaxy A72 4G features quad cameras on the back that consists of a primary 64MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture, 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 123-degree field-of-view, 8MP telephoto camera with 2X optical zoom and 2MP macro camera. There is a 32MP selfie camera housed within the punch-hole cutout.
Samsung has equipped with Galaxy A72 4G with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging out-of-the-box.
