The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) smartphone has been spotted on Geekbench. The device is seen with model number SM-A730F, which is believed to be the 2018 edition of the Samsung Galaxy A7. The device was first spotted by Telefoon, hinting towards a mid-range device.

Previous rumours of the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) indicated that the device could be powered by the company’s own Exynos 7885 chipset in some markets, while some other regions are expected to get a Snapdragon 660 variant. The Geekbench listing reaffirms the rumours that the smartphone will be powered by an Exynos 7885 SoC.

The current 2017 variant of the Galaxy A7 comes with 3GB of RAM, whereas the 2018 variant sports 6GB of RAM. It shows the single-core performance at 1,490 and the multi-core scores of 4,172. The device is seen running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat but it's not necessary that the device will launch with it.

There are no additional details regarding the specifications of the device on Geekbench, but some rumours hint that the smartphone may be the first Samsung devices to offer a dual front camera setup. The device isn't seen sporting a dual rear camera setup, but could sport a rear fingerprint sensor which is placed below the camera module.
