Samsung Galaxy A52 4G has been spotted in a listing on the Google Play Console, ahead of its rumoured launch on March 17. The Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 are expected to launch next week during Samsung’s second Unpacked event of 2021. There have been several leaks about the Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A72 in the past few weeks and the latest leak confirms some rumoured specifications.
As per a report by MySmartPrice, the Galaxy A52 4G was spotted in a Google Play Console listing confirming key specifications of the upcoming phone. The phone shares a lot in common with the 5G variant with the highlighting difference being the processor under the hood. The Galaxy A52 4G could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor with 8GB RAM, 128GB storage and Adreno 618 GPU. The phone will likely run on Android 11 based One UI out-of-the-box.
Additionally, the Galaxy A52 4G is expected to feature a Full HD+ display that likely supports a 90Hz refresh rate while the 5G variant could support a 120Hz refresh rate. Here’s everything we know about the Galaxy A52 4G so far.

Samsung Galaxy A52 has been leaked featuring a 6.5-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution Super AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout in the centre for the selfie camera. The 5G variant has support for up to 120Hz refresh rate while the 4G variant will have to make do with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen is also protected with a layer of Gorilla Glass.
The Galaxy A52 5G is likely powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 619 GPU. Meanwhile, the 4G variant is expected to have a Snapdragon 720G under the hood with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 618 GPU. This is paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage options to choose from. The phones will likely run on Android 11 based One UI 3.0 and has a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A52 with quad cameras that consists of a primary 64MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 123-degree field-of-view, 5MP macro camera and 2MP depth sensor. The rear cameras can record in 4K UHD at 30FPS and 1080p at 120FPS. Additionally, there’s a 32MP selfie camera on the front housed within the notch cutout.
The screen is also home to a fingerprint reader and the phone is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging out-of-the-box.
