Samsung seems to be preparing to expand its mid-range A series with the introduction of the new Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5G smartphones. While there were reports of a delay in the launch of the Galaxy A55 5G, it appears that the release is now on the horizon. The upcoming Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5G have made their appearance on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification, hinting at imminent India launch.
MySmartPrice has spotted the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5G on the Indian BIS certification website with the model numbers SM-A356E/DS and SM-A556E/DS, respectively.

Also, the UAE support page for the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G is now live, featuring the same model number.

While the BIS listing or the UAE support page doesn’t reveal any specifications of the upcoming Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5G smartphones, it indicates that the devices are expected to debut soon.
The Samsung Galaxy A35 5G handset was recently spotted on the Geekbench database. It revealed that the device is expected to be powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset. It could come with 6GB of RAM and will likely operate on Android 14.
Speaking of performance, the Galaxy A35 5G achieved 697 points in the single-core test and 2,332 points in the multi-core test.
Now, let’s talk about the Galaxy A55 5G. So far, rumours suggest that this smartphone is expected to have 25W fast charging. It will likely be powered by the Exynos 1480 processor.
For photography, the Galaxy A55 5G’s rear camera setup is expected to include a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP macro camera. On the front, there could be a 32MP camera.
