Samsung Galaxy A26 to launch soon in India: Here’s what you can expect

South Korean tech giant Samsung is currently working on a new addition to the Galaxy A series, which is its budget series. As per rumours, Samsung can soon unveil the Galaxy A26. It is expected to carry some new design elements and features. We also have a first look at what the smartphone can look like. Read along to see what changes Samsung is going to pack this time.

Samsung Galaxy A26 expected details

Design

In a collaboration with Android Headline, a known tipster, OnLeaks has shared renders of the Samsung Galaxy A26. On the design front, the Samsung can feature a flat display along with a water drop notch on the front. The bottom bezels can be thicker than the other ones. It can even carry a vertical camera island on the rear with three cameras. The LED flash can be placed next to it. The smartphone is expected to be around 9.7mm thick. The Galaxy A26 will not have a headphone jack. We can get to see plastic back and frame.

With the Galaxy A26, Samsung can offer a unique “Key Island” section on the right side that will house the power and volume buttons, making them easier to locate. Samsung previously used this design with the Galaxy A16 models.

Performance

The Samsung Galaxy A26 can run on Samsung’s Exynos 1280 chip. It can even get 6GB of RAM. It can come with Android 15 and Samsung’s One UI.

Prices

It can come close to its predecessor, the Galaxy A25 In the U.S it can be priced at around $299, which is approximately Rs 24,817.

For now, let’s take this news with a pinch of salt as Samsung is yet to confirm any of this. We don’t have an exact launch date for the smartphone yet, but it is expected soon. We’ll keep you updated.
