Carrying on the smartphone launching spree, Samsung launched the Galaxy A20s in India on October 5. The announcement comes after a month of the Galaxy A20s’ launch in Malaysia. The smartphone is essentially a slightly iterated version of the Galaxy A20, which was launched in India earlier this year. The Galaxy A20s sports a triple rear camera setup and comes with a price tag of Rs 11,999.
Samsung Galaxy A20s features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1560 pixels) Infinity-V display at an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset. It comes in two storage variants, 3GB RAM + 32GB and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. The smartphone runs One UI based on Android 9 Pie.
On the optics front, Samsung Galaxy A20s sports a triple rear camera setup: a 13MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens + an 8MP sensor with an ultra-wide lens + a 5MP depth sensor. On the front lies an 8MP camera for the selfie needs.
Samsung Galaxy A20s has microSD card support as well. The memory can be expanded up to 512GB. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.Galaxy A20s packs a 4000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. The phone weighs 183 grams.
Samsung Galaxy A20s is priced at Rs 11,999 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. On the other hand, the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option costs Rs 13,999. It is available in Black, Blue and Green colour options. As mentioned earlier, the smartphone was announced globally last month.
