Samsung Galaxy A 2017 price and manual leaks ahead of launch
Samsung Galaxy A 2017 will be IP68 certified making it dust and water resistant
Samsung has already confirmed that it will be launching the Galaxy A 2017 series on January 5. The new A series is expected to be IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, a core feature available only on Samsung's flagship smartphones. Now, ahead of the launch, the phone's manual and pricing have leaked revealing some more information about the device.
Samsung Galaxy A 2017 series will include Galaxy A7 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A3 (2017). All the three models will come with NFC and native support for Samsung Pay, with fingerprint sensors embedded in the home button. The design is also expected to be similar to Galaxy S7 this time, with near identical corners and chamfered edges.
Samsung Galaxy A 2017, which will be launched in Malaysia first will be priced under Rs 30,000. Sammobile reports Galaxy A7 will be priced around $424 (approximately Rs 29,000) while Galaxy A5 could be priced at $378 (approximately Rs 26,000). The prices seem to be coming from an official source.
Samsung is not trying hard to keep its Galaxy A 2017 series a secret. The Company's Russian website has already put out user manuals for the devices, suggesting the devices will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow and not Nougat. Samsung's Galaxy A 2017 series does seem to be a promising mid-range smartphone and it could lead up to the launch of Galaxy J 2017 series, which has become a cash cow for the Korean smartphone maker.
