Samsung to bring the FE back with Galaxy S23 series, with AMOLED 120Hz display

Samsung is said to be planning to bring the FE models back in the market. This could start with the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. The Samsung Galaxy FE models are the affordable versions of its flagship S series. The last FE model was launched with the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. Now reports are surfacing on the internet that are revealing the specifications of Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, indicating the launch could happen soon. Let’s have a look at expected specifications. 

A known and reliable tipster, Yogesh Brar, has tipped Samsung Galaxy S23 FE's specifications on X (formerly Twitter). He has revealed pretty much everything about the smartphone, from display to battery. The Galaxy S23 FE is expected to feature a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a support of 120Hz refresh rate. The display might have a FHD+ resolution. It is rumoured to run on Samsung’s OneUI 5.1 skin, which is based on Android 13 operating system.

For the performance, either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 chipset might back the smartphone. Now the processors could differentiate between regions. It will reportedly be powered by a 4500mAh battery, which could support up to 25-watt fast charging support. 

Moving to the camera, the tipster has claimed a triple camera setup on the back of Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. This setup could consist of a 50-megapixel OIS primary camera along with an 8-megapixel unknown sensor and a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor for optical zoom. A 10-megapixel selfie shooter might be featured in the smartphone.
