Samsung reportedly plans to extend Galaxy AI beyond the high-end models, bringing it to Galaxy A-series phones.

Specifically, Galaxy AI is anticipated debut on the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55, both of which are 2024 models.

Galaxy AI is expected to become available through the One UI 6.1.1 update for these A-series devices.

Samsung’s Galaxy AI, a suite of artificial intelligence features, was first introduced with the launch of the Galaxy S24 series. Designed to enhance the user experience, Galaxy AI offers a range of smart functionalities to make everyday tasks more intuitive and seamless.

Well, I have some exciting news for Galaxy A-series phone users eager to experience Galaxy AI! According to a report by SamMobile, citing sources, Samsung plans to extend its latest AI innovation beyond the high-end models, bringing it to Galaxy A phones. Specifically, Galaxy AI is anticipated debut on the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55, both of which are 2024 models.

While the exact release date is unknown, Galaxy AI is expected to become available through the One UI 6.1.1 update for these A-series devices sometime this month or next. However, there are a few important details to note.

Not all Galaxy AI features are expected to be included in the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55. Details are scarce on which specific AI tools will be available, but it’s likely that features requiring extensive on-device processing power may be excluded.

Currently, the rollout of Galaxy AI is anticipated only for the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55. There’s no information yet on whether older Galaxy A models, like the Galaxy A54—despite sharing the same Exynos 1380 SoC with the Galaxy A35—will receive the update. It appears Samsung may be focusing Galaxy AI on models released in 2024 and beyond.

At the Unpacked 2024 event, Samsung announced its ambitious plan to extend Galaxy AI to over 200 million Galaxy devices, including phones, tablets, and wearables.

In my opinion, Samsung’s move to extend Galaxy AI to the Galaxy A35 and A55 will be a promising step towards making advanced AI features more accessible to a wider audience.
