According to a report by SamMobile, Samsung might be working with Epic Games and Krafton to bring exclusive and customised games to its Galaxy Z Fold series.

This news was first reported by Hankyung. The tech giant has likely taken this step to add more “foldable-specific content” and set itself apart from the wave of foldable smartphones introduced by other brands such as Honor, OnePlus, OPPO, Vivo, and Xiaomi.

Reportedly, Samsung Research has established a Gaming Task Force team. This dedicated team has been assigned the mission of creating exclusive games tailored for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 through collaborations with various gaming companies. The team is likely working with gaming industry giants such as Epic Games, Kakao Games, Krafton, NCSoft, Nexon, Pearl Abyss, and Smilegate, with the goals of developing new games and optimising existing ones.
Samsung’s ambition even extends to the belief that customers can enjoy console-quality gaming on their Galaxy Z Fold series devices, the report said. The new exclusive games for the Z Fold lineup could be released early next year.
Samsung launched its latest Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphone earlier this year. It features a 7.6-inch QXGA Dynamic AMOLED 2X main screen. The cover screen on the other hand features a 6.2-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display. You can spot a 10-megapixel selfie camera on the cover display, and a 4-megapixel under display camera. Its triple camera setup offers a combination of a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel main camera and a 10-megapixel lens.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 was rolled out in India at ₹1,54,999 for the 12+256GB model, ₹1,64,999 for the 12+512GB variant, and ₹1,84,999 for the 12+1TB model.
