Nokia launched the Lumia phones in 2011 and they were really fascinating. Those smartphones used to run on Windows and as much as they were attractive from the outside, the same attractive their UI looked. Now, a new rumour has surfaced on the internet, claiming a new smartphone by HMD Global is in the works. This smartphone might be reminiscent of the Nokia Lumia by the looks of it. However, it won’t be a Windows phone. Let’s check out its rumored specifications!
The brand is said to be working on a mid-range smartphone. Although this device’s name hasn’t been disclosed, a few specifications are here.
According to a known tipster, Mukul Sharma aka stufflistings, this new device will feature that legendary “Fabula” design.

In terms of the hardware, it could sport an AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate support. The device will most likely run on Android 14 OS. It will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. What puts more weight on this rumour is that an HMD smartphone was recently spotted on the Geekbench database with this same processor.
Moreover, it may have a dual camera setup on the back, holding a 108-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. For selfies, it is rumoured to have a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
Lastly, the rumoured HMD smartphone might be packed with a 4900mAh battery with 33-watt fast charging support.
Additionally, Sharma has also hinted at some more features. It is expected to feature Bluetooth 5.2, a standard 3.5mm audio jack, NFC connectivity, and dual speakers. The support of PureView and OZO audio technologies is also rumoured. And the phone is anticipated to come with an IP67-rated construction for added durability.
