Reliance Communications (RCom) has announced a new plan for its GSM prepaid customers in Karnataka. The new plan, known as Master Plan, covers text messages, voice calls and data plans. Reliance’s Master Plan is available for both existing and new prepaid customers in the circle.
Reliance’s Master Plan features recharge packs in three denominations – Rs. 46 and Rs. 101 for new users, and Rs. 74 for existing customers. Reliance says its Master Plan is the only plan that has local calling as low as Rs. 5 paise per minute within the same network, while calls to other networks are as low as Rs. 30 paise per minute.
Also, users get full talktime on all top-ups (for six months), along with 500MB of 2G data usage free per month, whereas local and national SMSes are charged at 5 paise. For STD calling, users are charged 60 paise per minute within the same and on other networks. The validity of these plans is 180 days.
On the recharge of Rs. 46, customers get 4,500 seconds of free calling to any network with one month validity. With the recharge of Rs. 101, the subscriber gets 10,000 seconds of free calling to any network with two months validity. To read the full details of the new Master Plan, click here.
