It seems like Reliance Jio is not done with its data offers. The company is subscribers up to 224GB of additional data when they purchase a new SIM card as well as a JioFi device. In order to avail the offer, users also have to sign up for Jio Prime at Rs 99, and then select one of the recharge packs where the offer. The basic Rs 149 plan will offer 2GB additional data per month for a year. Getting the Rs 309 plan will offer 1GB additional data per day for six months, for a total of 168GB of additional data. With the Rs 509 plan, users can get 2GB data per day for four months, for up to 224GB of additional data.
It should be noted that Reliance Jio’s Dhan Dhan Dhan offer, which was unveiled in April as a replacement for the Summer Surprise offer is almost at an end. The deal allowed existing members of Prime to pay Rs 309 and get 1GB of data per day, or pay Rs. 509 and get 2GB data per day for free. However, anyone who paid for the Summer Surprise offer prior to its cancellation were not eligible for the offer as their would instead enjoy the benefits of the Summer Surprise offer.
A few days ago, Airtel announced that it was extending its Surprise offer for postpaid users by another three billing cycles. Dubbed the Monsoon Surprise offer, it would allow users to avail 30GB of additional data for three months. Postpaid users can claim the offer via the My Airtel app.
