Redmi was a bit late to the party when it announced its 64MP Redmi Note 8 Pro in India last month. The company also chose to go with a Mediatek processor on its phone instead of a Qualcomm SoC, which was a bit surprising. This new handset will be up for sale today in India via Amazon, Mi.com, and Mi Home Stores. The smartphone’s base variant is priced at Rs 14,999 and it goes up against the likes of the Realme 5 Pro, Realme XT and other handsets in the same price range.
