Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 13 series in China a few months back. This smartphone series comes with three variants that are the Redmi Note 13 5G, Note 13 Pro 5G, Note 13R Pro 5G, and Note 13 Pro Plus 5G. The top-end variant has seen some significant upgrades this year, starting with its processor. Interestingly, Xiaomi India has announced the launch date of the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G. Xiaomi is launching the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G in India in the first week of 2024. The smartphone will land in India on January 4. This has been confirmed by Xiaomi through a post on X (formerly Twitter). The post also confirms the processor specifications of the smartphone. Xiaomi India has also made the Note 13 Pro Plus 5G microsite live on its website. This also confirms the launch date of the smartphone.

As I mentioned above, Xiaomi has also rolled out this smartphone in China. This means we have the specifications of the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G. However, Xiaomi India has also revealed a couple of specifications. Let’s find out.
Speaking of its performance, the brand has already confirmed the processor. The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset. Xiaomi is also claiming that it is the first smartphone to be powered by this processor. The Dimensity 7200 Ultra is also said to be the Xiaomi exclusive processor. Furthermore, it could run on the latest HyperOS, which is based on Android 14 OS. About its storage, the Note 13 Pro Plus might boast up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Coming to the display now, in another post, Xiaomi India has confirmed the smartphone will boast a 1.5K curved AMOLED display. The Chinese variant of the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G features a 6.67-inch display that comes with a 1220 x 2712 pixels resolution. The display supports 68 billion colours, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and up to 120Hz refresh rate. This year, Xiaomi has not made many changes to the display of its Note series.
Lastly, the camera. The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G comes with a triple camera setup on the back. This includes a 200-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel Ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel Macro sensor. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
