Xiaomi launched two new budget phones last week, one is Redmi Note 12 4G and the other is Redmi 12C. Both the phones come with 4G connectivity only and now they are available for purchase.
If you are looking to buy an affordable smartphone, Xiaomi’s online store provides you with two new budget phones. The Redmi Note 12 Pro was launched at a starting price of ₹14,999 for the 64GB variant and ₹16,999 for the top variant (6GB 128GB). This smartphone comes in three colour options; Sunrise Gold, Lunar Black, and Frosted Ice Blue.
There is a bank offer also available with the Redmi Note 12 4G. You can get a ₹1000 discount by making a payment with ICICI Credit Card or Debit Card. After this offer, the phone will cost you ₹13,999, for the base variant.
Next up, we have an entry-level smartphone, the Redmi 12C which is available on Xiaomi’s online store at a starting price of ₹8,999 but can be bought for ₹8,499 by availing of an ICICI bank offer. The top variant (6GB 128GB) was launched at a price of ₹9,499. The Redmi 12C offers four colour options which are Blue, Black, Purple, and Green.
The phone comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display supports up to 120Hz refresh rate and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Redmi Note 12 4G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset paired with 6GB RAM along with 64GB and 128GB storage options. It runs on the latest MIUI 14 OS based on Android 13.
It comes with a triple camera setup holding a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel selfie shooter.
The Redmi Note 12 4G packs a 5000mAh battery with 33-watt fast charging support.
Redmi Note 12C features a 6.71-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1650 x 720 pixels.
It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor coupled with 4GB and 6GB RAM. It runs on the MIUI 13 operating system which is based on Android 12.
It comes with a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back along with a depth sensor. On the front, it has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Redmi 12C packs a 5000mAh battery with 10-watt charging support.
