Redmi K70e leak reveals processor, display, battery & more

A tipster has revealed some specifications of the Redmi K70e.

The Redmi K70e is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC.

It could feature a 1.5K resolution OLED display.

The Redmi K70 series has been a subject of ongoing speculation and is anticipated to make its debut in China soon. This lineup is expected to include three models: the Redmi K70, Redmi K70 Pro, and Redmi K70e. Now, a tipster has revealed some specifications of the Redmi K70e.

According to X tipster Anvin, the Redmi K70e model is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC.

The K70e smartphone model will likely feature a 1.5K resolution OLED display. Also, it could come packed with a 5,500mAh battery with support for 90W charging.

So far, rumours suggest that all three variants in the Redmi K70 series, namely the K70, K70e, and K70 Pro, are said to come with the Android 14 OS and feature the MIUI 15 custom skin right out of the box.

Also, the top model Redmi K70 Pro made an appearance on GeekBench. This smartphone scored 1,100 points in the single-core, and 5,150 points in the multi-core round of the Geekbench 6 benchmark test. 

Previously, more rumours surfaced on the internet, suggesting some key specifications of the K70 Pro. The smartphone is expected to have an OLED display with 2K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. It might be packed with a 5,500 mAh battery with up to 120W fast charging support. 

At the camera front, the K70 Pro could feature a 50-megapixel OIS main camera along with an ultra-wide sensor and a Telephoto lens with 3.2x zooming capabilities. Also, the upcoming Redmi K70 Pro will likely feature a metal middle frame and a glass-coated body. It might also house a horizontally arranged large matrix for its camera module that is expected to be transparent to offer a unique look.
