Redmi K30 Pro 5G, Zoom Edition launched in China: Specs, price and more

Redmi K30 Pro sports a quad rear camera setup in a circular module: a 64-megapixel primary sensor + a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens + a 2-megapixel macro camera + a 5-megapixel telephoto lens.

The Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition gets OIS on the 64-megapixel sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor instead of a 5-megapixel camera with OIS support.

Redmi K30 Pro features a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED display.

Redmi K30 Pro has been launched in China alongside a Zoom Edition. The phones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. As teased before, they feature LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage system and a front-facing pop-up camera. The Redmi K30 Pro features a  6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED display. It supports  HDR10+ and a refresh rate of 60Hz.

As for the Zoom Edition, it gets OIS on the 64-megapixel sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor instead of a 5-megapixel camera with OIS support. Both the phones support zoom up to 30x digitally and different formats such as RAW as well. On the front lies a 20-megapixel pop-up selfie shooter. 

Other specs include 8K video recording, a headphone jack, IP53 water resistance, NFC, IR Blaster, and Wi-Fi 6. It packs a 4700mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging over USB-C. The company says that Redi K30 Pro has a much better haptic feedback system powered by a linear motor. The phone also has an IP53 rating, which makes it water-resistant to some extent. 

While the Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro comes in three variants: 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB capacities that are priced at 2999 Yuan (~ Rs 32,300), 3399 Yuan (~ Rs 36,600) and 3699 Yuan (~ Rs 39,800) respectively. The Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition will be made available in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB models that cost 3799 Yuan (~ Rs 40,900) and 3999 Yuan (~ Rs 43,000) respectively.
