A while back, Redmi released its Redmi 13C in the global markets in November this year. However, Indian fans had to go through disappointment as it wasn’t released in India. But worry not, the Redmi 13C is soon coming to the Indian markets too. Let’s find out more.
Xiaomi has confirmed that it will unveil the Redmi 13C in India on December 6. This was shared via an official post by Redmi India. Speaking of the global version of the Redmi 13C, it packs a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 18-watt wired fast charging support.

Now, ahead of its launch in India, certain key specifications of the Indian variant of the smartphone have been leaked and surfaced online. Firstly, the announcement teaser shared by Redmi itself gives us a hint at the colour variants, which are: Stardust Black and Star Shine Green colours. Further, the teaser also confirms that the smartphone will pack a 50-megapixel primary lens.
On the other hand, the Indian Redmi 13C could be powered by a MediaTek Helio G85, according to a 91Mobiles report. Additionally, the smartphone could run on MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13. The report further claims that the smartphone could pack many features that are similar to its global variant.
Speaking of the display, we could get to see a 6.74-inch HD+ display on the Indian Redmi 13C with a 90Hz refresh rate. The camera module on the rear could sport a triple camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and an auxiliary lens. And just like the global version, we could get an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

For batteries, we could get a 5,000mAh battery along with 18-watt fast charging support.
Finally, if we take a look at the prices, the global version of the Redmi 13C comes at a starting price of $139.99 (approximately ₹11,700).
