Redmi 12 to launch on August 1: How to watch it live online

Xiaomi is back again with another budget friendly smartphone, the Redmi 12. Hugely anticipated, the Redmi 12 is all set to launch in India on August 1. The Chinese brand is launching the Redmi 12 on a live stream. Previously rumours suggested that this smartphone is going to be a rebranded version of the Redmi 12R, which never made it to the global market except China. As for the specifications, the company has revealed some details of the smartphone such as the Redmi 12 will offer up to 8GB RAM along with 8GB virtual RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. However it is also expected to launch with one more storage option; 6GB RAM 128GB storage. It will be backed by a 5000mAh battery and feature a 50-megapixel camera with ‘Film Filters’.

It features a 6.79-inch IPS LCD display along with 90Hz refresh rate and a 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution. A Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor is integrated in Redmi 12R.
Talking about the camera, it boasts a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens on the back. On the front, it features a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
