Realme X, Realme X Lite launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC in China
Realme X and Realme X Lite launched in China.
Both phones have Snapdragon 710 processor and are offered in three variants each.
The Realme X comes with a notchless display and a pop-up selfie camera module.
Realme has launched its first two devices, the Realme X and the Realme X Lite, in China. Both the variants are equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, however, the Realme X is better of the two, with flagship level features like 48MP camera, in-display fingerprint sensor and a pop-up module for the selfie camera. The Realme X has already received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), suggesting that the phone would also launch in India soon.
Realme X specifications:
The Realme X sports a 6.53-inch AMOLED Samsung display, which is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. There is no notch on the display and Realme claims that the phone has a 91.2 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display has a 6th generation optical in-display fingerprint sensor, which is claimed to be 65 percent faster than the previous generation. Just like the Realme X Lite, the phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and is offered in in three variant with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. It comes with a copper pipe cooling that is claimed to reduce the temperature by 15.2 percent while gaming. The phone will be available in three colour variants: White, Blue and a special edition inspired by onion peel. The first two variants have an S-shaped pattern on the back.
In the camera department, the Realme X is equipped with a 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor with a 6P lens having an aperture of f/1.7. There is a 5MP secondary sensor accompanied by an LED flash. The rear camera comes with special modes to improve photography. There is a Super Resolution Mode which is claimed to intelligently merge eight shots into one for high definition photos. The second one is Super Night Scene to take well-lit images in low-light conditions, and the third is the Chroma Boost that is claimed to improve the dynamic range in a photo. According to the company, the phone can shoot 960fps slo-mo videos.
On the front is a pop-up 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor with the corresponding lens having an aperture of f/2.0. Just like we have seen in the OnePlus 7 Pro, the pop-up module is claimed to detect a fall and take 0.73 seconds to retract inside the body. The phone draws power from a 3765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 support.
The phone will be available in three variants: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant that will cost CNY 1499 (approx Rs 15,000) , a 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant for CNY 1599 (approx Rs 16,000), and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant for 1799 (approx Rs 18,000). The special edition with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at CNY 1899 (approx Rs 19,000).
Realme X Lite specifications:
The Realme X Lite was first spotted on TENAA listing, and it can be called as the watered down version of the flagship Relame X that cuts on a lot of features like in-display fingerprint sensor. Basically, Realme X Lite is the rebranded version of the Realme 3 Pro that was launched in April in India. The Realme X Lite features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with a dewdrop notch and a chin. Relame claims that the design gives the phone a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8 percent. As mentioned, the phone is powered by 2.2Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with Adreno 616 GPU paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. The phone comes with Hyper Boost 2.0, a software feature to enhance speed and gaming experience.
The camera responsibilities are on a dual camera setup on the back. It consists of 16MP Sony IMX519 sensor with a pixel pitch of 1.22um and a lens having an aperture of f/1.7. There is a secondary 5MP sensor with a lens having f/2.4 aperture. The company claims that camera is capable of shooting in 4K and take super slow-mo (960 fps) videos. On the front, it has a 25MP selfie shooter with f2.0 aperture, AI beautification modes and face unlock. The Realme 3 Pro sports a fingerprint scanner on the back, runs on ColorOS 6 baked on top of Android 9 Pie, and has 4045mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast-charging support. The phone will be available in three variants: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage which is priced at CNY 1199 (approx Rs 12,000), 6GB RAM + 64GB storage version that will cost CNY 1299 (approx Rs 13,000) and 6GB RAM and 128GB storage priced at CNY 1499 (approx Rs 15,000).
