The Realme X was recently unveiled in China, and as previously reported, the phone will come to India soon. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed the development on Twitter. The phone, with the model number RMX1901, has already appeared in the database of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The BIS listing does not delve out any information about the phone, but now that it's launched, we know about its features and specifications. However, India may see the phone coming in variants different from those launched in China. Further, it is not confirmed whether the company will bring the Realme X Lite in the country.
The Realme X features a 6.53-inch AMOLED Samsung display, which is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. There is no notch on the display and Realme claims that the phone has a 91.2 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display has a sixth-generation optical in-display fingerprint sensor, which is claimed to be 65 percent faster than the previous generation. Under the hood, the phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor. It was launched in three colours: white, blue and a special edition inspired by an onion peel. The phone will be available in three variants: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM and 64GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The special edition variant comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
