Realme has teased a U-Series device on its Twitter handle hinting a phone with large storage. In a 15-second video, a phone is seen downloading a movie and when the process is about to complete, a message appears showing that the phone’s storage is full. With the #bringUmore, the company has suggested that it could launch a phone with higher storage capacity. The company could launch a new variant of the already-launched Realme U1 or might introduce the Realme U2.
The possibility of a new storage variant is higher because the company previously launched a new variant of the Realme C1 in January, and it could do the same with the Realme U1. The top variant of the phone was launched with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and it is possible that the company may launch another model with 128GB of onboard storage.
Launched in November, the Realme U1 sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display, offering a 90.8 percent screen-to-body-ratio, and sports a Dewdrop notch. The phone is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 processor, which was announced in October. The phone draws power from a 3500mAh battery with AI Power master technology. Realme claims that the feature analyses and help conserve the phone’s battery.
In the camera department, the smartphone sports a 13MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the back, and supports capturing images in portrait lighting, bokeh and super vivid modes. The phone can also record slow-motion video at 90fps in HD resolution. On the front, the handset features an AI-powered 25MP sensor with f2.0 aperture and 1.8um pixel size. Realme said that the front camera supports Hybrid HDR, group selfie features, selfie bokeh effect and AI face detection.
