Realme removes the charger from the Narzo 50A Prime box.
Realme gives ecological reasons for this decision.
The expected Realme Narzo 50A Prime specifications include an FHD+ display, a 50MP main camera, Android 11 OS, Unisoc T612 SoC, and a 5000mAh battery with 18W charging support.
Realme follows the suit of brands ditching chargers from the smartphone package and it won’t be bundling a wall adapter with the upcoming Narzo 50A Prime in India. The official announcement about this recently came through the Realme community forum. The brand gives the same environmental reasons for taking away the charging brick from the Narzo phone’s box.
In a recent interview on Indiacsr.com, VP and President of Realme International Business Group said, “We have taken initiatives to focus on sustainability and are also attempting to achieve Double Zero targets like net-zero carbon emissions by 2025.”
In line with this ideology, a Realme Community Official posted, “For our upcoming product in the narzo series, the narzo 50A Prime will not include a wall charger in the box. This is also a first for us, for trying to give our best to the planet.”
The company also questioned the need for a new 10W charger when the community members (and the prospective buyers) might already have alternatives at home. It further said that the cost saved would be put to upgrades and offers.

Realme Narzo 50A Prime Specs and Features (Expected)
The phone comes with a 6.6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with 600 nits of brightness and a waterdrop notch. The front camera may be an 8MP sensor.
At the back, you may get a 50MP+2MP+0.3MP triple camera setup.
The internals may comprise of Unisoc T612 chipset, up to 4+128GB memory option, and a 5000mAh battery with 18W charging support.
Other things you may find in the mix are a 3.5mm audio jack, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and Android 11 based Realme UI R edition software.
Realme Narzo 50A Prime Price and Availability (Expected)
In Indonesia, Realme has priced the Narzo 50A Prime at IDR 1,999,000 (~₹10,600) for the 4+64GB variant and IDR 2,199,000 (~₹11,700) for the 4+128GB model. The available colour options are Black and Blue.
